The township of Nanneella will soon be enjoying a more efficient and reliable water supply thanks to Goulburn-Murray Water’s Water Efficiency Project.
Representing the Minister for Water; Member for Northern Victoria, Mark Gepp MP today took a tour of the project, and inspected the completed works at Nanneella Primary School.
The 900-metre pipeline to supply water to Nanneella, including the local primary school, will replace the existing open channel system.
The Goulburn-Murray Water Efficiency Project will save 15.9 gigalitres of water from off-farm infrastructure works and improve irrigation standards for more than 1,000 customers across the Goulburn-Murray Irrigation District.
